2018 Awards


Outstanding Paper Award – SciTS 2018

  • New this year will be the addition of an “Outstanding Paper Award.”
  • To be eligible for this award, you must submit a complete paper (not an abstract).
  • The winner of the Outstanding Paper Award will have their paper considered for publication in the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science. Please go to https://us.sagepub.com/en-us/nam/the-journal-of-applied-behavioral-science/journal200967 to review this journal’s aims and scope.
  • For publication consideration in JABS:
    • The paper must have a team science focus.
    • The paper can be a case study, a theoretical model, or a qualitative or empirical study.
    • The paper must emphasize planned, unplanned, or evolutionary change involving team science impacting groups, organizations, or system-level dynamics.


Please submit your paper using the “complete paper submission” option on the Abstract Submission Form by April 1. Please include a 50-word abstract and a complete paper up to 35 pages long (references, tables and figures are not included in the page limit).

InSciTS Meritorious Contribution Award
Poster and oral presentation submissions nominated by the SciTS Abstract Reviewers and judged by the SciTS Awards Committee to be especially original and significant will be highlighted as InSciTS Outstanding Abstract Award winners. 


All abstracts submitted through the general submission process (http://www.scienceofteamscience.org/call-for-abstracts due April 1, 2018) will be considered for nomination; therefore no additional abstract submissions are needed for this award category.
